On 7^th October 2009 Nettleham played Scothern Ellison Boulters School away.

We played with a squad of Damon in goal, John and Kai, George H, George A and Russell in midfield with Scott and Lewis in attack.

The Game was very hard at the start but we managed to get a shot off by George H and the ball ended in the top corner which was a very good goal. Then into the 15^th minute we scored again with George A’s amazing goal. Into the second half we put pressure on Scothern and they managed to put the ball out for a corner, George lifted the ball over Scothern defence and Scott managed to head the ball past the keeper and that made it 3 – 0 to us, and to finish off our first match of the season with a win of 3- 0. We knocked Scothern out of the cup, and John C got man of the MATCH!
