22ND JUNE CLASS 4 W TO GRANTHAM FOR MINI OLYMPICS

Dear Parents/Carers, Class 4W are going to the annual Inspire+ Mini Olympics, tomorrow, Thursday, 22nd June. This event takes place at the South Kesteven District Council Stadium at Grantham Meres Leisure Centre (NG31 7XQ) on Thursday 22nd June 2017. The Mini Olympics provides children in school years 3&4 with the opportunity to try many Olympic and Paralympic sports. In addition, the children will get the chance to meet our VIP sports personalities in our ‘Meet the Stars’ area, including the charities ambassadors, Sam Ruddock and Sophie Allen. The event is going to be attended by over 500 young people. The coach will leave school at 8.30am so could children please be at school for 8.15 a.m., returning to school at approximately 3.30pm. (please note arrival time back at Nettleham may be delayed due to Lincolshire Show Traffic, if there is likely to be a significant delay we will text you but please be at school for 3.30 p.m. unless you hear from us). Children will need to come to school in their normal school PE kit, including trainers and a packed lunch. Inhalers should also be taken for those children who are asthmatic. The children will also need a sweatshirt and bottoms to wear over their PE kit plus plenty of water to drink and raincoat/sun cream/sun hat depending on the weather. If you haven't already done so could you please give your permission by emailing us on enquiries@nettleham-junior.lincs.sch.uk There will be a limited number of spaces available on the coach for parents to come along and support the children so please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to accompany us. Thank you for your continued support of our sporting activities. Yours sincerely, Mrs P Alexander-Summerlin/Miss H Windley
