Admissions 2020

We look forward to welcoming you and your child into the Nettleham Church of England Junior School ‘Family’ and also look forward to the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with the best interests of your child at the heart of everything that we do.

Normally we invite you into school in May to an induction meeting for parents followed by several opportunities in June and July for your children to spend time with us in classrooms, at lunchtime, playtime and for an after-school disco. We very much hope that some of these will be able to go ahead. However, we live in very different times with the COVID 19 crisis and we are putting together our plans for transition arrangements in response to current (and future) Government guidelines.

But this doesn’t stop us beginning the process of getting to know your children so that they get off to the best possible start with us in September.

We have set up this area of our website with information about starting school with us which we would love you to have a look at with your children over the period of school closure.

There is a short information sheet for parents to complete to pass on information about your child, please take some time to complete this. We look forward to hearing from you; please email this to enquiries@nettlehamjunior.lincs.sch.uk or use the online form “About your child” on the left of this page. At the same time we would love to hear from the children too, they could write to us, draw something or even make a short video.

We are very keen that parents get in touch with us directly and the best way to do this is to email me David.Gibbons@nettleham-junior.lincs.sch.uk The more that we know about your child the better.

Once again can I say thank you for selecting Nettleham Church of England Junior School for the next stage of your child’s education and guarantee that we will do our utmost to see that they fulfil their potential in all areas.

With very best wishes

David Gibbons
