Folders

The use of folders in Frontpage is important. If you look at the site Folder List you will see that when the site was first started all the pages and images were saved in the site folder, later folders were created for specific subjects Newsletter, Sonic Postcards etc because it was realised that when the time came to remove a particular topic from the site, if it was not in a folder someone would have to trawl the whole site to find the relevant bits to delete but if they were all in a folder all that needed to be done was delete the folder and the link to it..

So if you are going to create a new topic the first thing to do is create a new folder by clicking on the folder icon at the top of the Folder List and then save it with a name relevant to the new topic. Don't forget the web does not like capitals/spaces in folder, file and image names.
