Affectionate eyes gaze fondly getting bigger

Mocking eyes jeer and snigger

Mysterious eyes glitter in the sun

Racer’s eyes cheer “I’ve won”

Gloomy eyes look down and sad

Devil’s eyes are nasty and bad

Old eyes remember the past, so small

eyes well they watch them all!

Common words tell jokes all day,

Careless words tip on the mat,

Tall words almost touch the top,

Secret words don’t talk a lot,

Senseless words don’t make much sense,

Simple words aren’t very dense,

Tough words are very hard to swallow,

Soft words are just like marsh mallows,

Little words don’t realize,

The whole wide world before their eyes,
