SIAMS Inspection Report 2019

SIAMS Inspection Report 2019

Just before the summer holidays our school was inspected under the new SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) framework. This is an additional inspection to the Ofsted inspection that all Church of England/Methodist schools receive and is focussed on elements that specifically relate to the Church identity and mission of our school. As you will know this Church ethos is something that we work on and are proud of at Nettleham Juniors.

We are delighted to share with you the outcomes of this inspection and proud of the many wonderful things that the inspector, Rachel Beeson, has to say about our school, our pupils and our community. The overall judgement of the inspector was that our school is judged as “good”. As you may know the new inspection framework is incredibly challenging for schools and we are delighted to see the ‘Excellent’ judgements that appear in the report. So many areas of strength have been identified and celebrated and we relish the opportunity to be offered such specific areas for development to make sure that we constantly improve the provision we offer.
