The Bishop's Palace

Exciting times ahead on the site of the Bishop's Palace in Nettleham and school is closely involved.

Firstly we invite you to join the volunteers who are clearing part of the site on Saturday 15th February at 10am to prepare for the planting of a heritage orchard on Saturday 1st March. You are very welcome to join either or both events and become part of a very special community activity.

11th March sees the grand opening of the site when HRH Duke of Kent will be joining all of those who have worked so hard to develop this important historical area.

Our children are working with Electric Egg, film makers, to create a lasting document of the site that tells all of its history and from April our archeology club will be undertaking a test dig in the site's meadow area - another first for Nettleham C of E Junior School.

Please get involved, visit the site and make the most of a major piece of history on our doorstep.
