October Half Term News 2026
🍂 End of Term Newsletter
As we reach the end of another busy and successful term, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. Over the last eight weeks, our school community has been filled with learning, friendship, creativity and opportunities that have enabled our children to flourish both academically and personally.
🌟 Looking Back on the Last Eight Weeks
This term has been packed full of memorable experiences and achievements.
Across the school, children have worked incredibly hard in their lessons and have shown great determination, resilience and enthusiasm for learning. It has been wonderful to visit classrooms and see high levels of engagement in right across the curriculum. Our staff have continued to provide exciting learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and challenge children to achieve their very best.
Our collective worships have continued to provide opportunities for reflection, prayer and spiritual growth. We have been thrilled to see children writing and leading collective worship every week which has really contributed to the caring and inclusive culture that makes our school so special.
The term has also seen a variety of enrichment activities, educational visits and curriculum experiences that have helped bring learning to life. It has been fantastic to witness children developing confidence, independence and a love of learning through these opportunities.
Most importantly, I am incredibly proud of the way our children consistently demonstrate kindness and care towards each other. They continue to embody our vision of being one school family where everyone is valued and encouraged to thrive.
🎄 Looking Ahead to Term 2
There is already an exciting programme of events planned for the weeks ahead as we move towards the Christmas season.
Immediately on our return after the holiday our school council will be selling Poppies and associated poppy merchandise to raise money for the British Legion Appeal. So please send the children in with some money as everything sells out very quickly.

🎄 A Final Thought
As we look towards the season of Advent and Christmas, we are reminded of the importance of hope, joy, peace and love. These values are at the heart of our school community and are reflected daily in the actions of our children.
"Let all that you do be done in love."
1 Corinthians 16:14
Thank you once again for your support throughout this term. On behalf of all the staff and governors, I wish you and your families a wonderful half-term break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 2nd November for another exciting and successful term.
With best wishes,
