⭐ Highlights of the Week

☕ Macmillan Coffee Morning and Sports Activities

One of the standout moments of the week was our Macmillan Coffee Morning and fun sports activities on Wednesday. The afternoon was filled with energy, enthusiasm and community spirit, and it was wonderful to see children, staff and families coming together to support such an important cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, participated or supported the event. We are currently counting the donations and continue to receive contributions. We anticipate raising more than £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support, which is a fantastic achievement.

📚 A Fantastic Start to the New School Year

It has been a pleasure to see how well pupils continue to settle into the new academic year. Across the school, children are:

✅ Following routines confidently
✅ Demonstrating excellent attitudes to learning
✅ Showing kindness, respect and consideration for others

Our school values continue to shine through in daily school life, and we are incredibly proud of the positive atmosphere throughout the school.

🤝 Visitors to School

We have welcomed a number of visitors this week, including professionals supporting our safeguarding and SEND work, as well as local authority auditors.

These visits help ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality education, care and support for every child.

📅 Looking Ahead to Next Week

👨‍🏫 Welcome to Mr Bower

We are delighted to welcome Mr Bower, who will begin his extended PGCE teaching placement in Year 5 next week.

We know that our pupils and staff will make him feel very welcome as he joins our school community and develops his teaching practice with us.

🚜 Year 4 Visit to the Lincolnshire Showground

On Friday, our Year 4 pupils will enjoy a visit to the Lincolnshire Showground.

Educational visits provide children with memorable experiences beyond the classroom and help to develop:

• Curiosity
• Independence
• Confidence
• Understanding of the wider world

We hope they have a wonderful day and look forward to hearing all about their experiences.
