October is with us | Celebrating a Wonderful Week and Looking Ahead

🎉 Celebrating This Week

It has been a joy to see the children so fully engaged in their learning. Our Locality Lead, Katie Gravil, from Lincolnshire County Council visited every classroom this week and was impressed with our pupils' enthusiasm, resilience and real desire to do their best.

One of the great strengths of our school is the breadth of opportunities available to children. This week has been no exception, with clubs now in full swing and with music and French lessons taking place throughout the week, helping children develop confidence, creativity and perseverance.

On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome the Open the Book Team from All Saints Church for Collective Worship. The children listened attentively and enjoyed exploring Bible stories in a lively and engaging way.

Most importantly, I continue to be impressed by the kindness and encouragement our children show towards one another every day. Small acts of friendship, support and respect are what make our school such a special community.

📅 Coming Up

🚜 Friday 2nd October

Year 4 Lincolnshire Day Visit

Our Year 4 pupils will be spending the day at the Lincolnshire Showground, learning more about the history, culture and traditions of our county. We know they will be excellent ambassadors for the school.

⛪ Week Beginning 5th October

One of the highlights of next week will be our Year 3 Church Tower Day on Monday 5th October. This unique experience will help children learn more about the history and significance of our local church while strengthening links with our wider community.

We will also be welcoming visitors from the Diocese and our Bishop’s Visitor, Mrs Subden, as part of our ongoing work to strengthen and develop our school.

Wednesday 7th October sees the launch of the Lions Roar project with Year 5 which sees the children competing nationally to develop and market their own ideas and inventions.

On Thursday 8th October, a former pupil, Owen Picker, will be working with our Year 4 and 5 pupils to deliver Disability Awareness Workshops.

❤️ Thank You

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. The partnership between home and school is one of our greatest strengths, and together we are helping children to flourish academically, socially and spiritually.

✨ Thought for the Week

"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds."
Matthew 5:16

As we head into the weekend, let's encourage one another to look for opportunities to show kindness and make a positive difference in the lives of those around us.

Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable weekend.

With very best wishes
